As we slide into June, I start looking at my scramble and hiking bucket list for this summer and realize there's no way I can fit it all. Like every year, my list is too ambitious - unrealistic.
I'm happy to announce I'm now a permanent resident of Canada 🥳🇨🇦
I was going through some pictures on a recent rainy day and stumbled upon these. They are from last September and I had barely looked at them at the time. I was coming back from a kayaking trip and planning the next one and didn't spare a minute to sit down and enjoy the photos we had taken.
Today's temperature of 25°C made me transition brutally into summer. And instead of working on my business as I should, I'm baking in the sun while going through last summer's kayaking pictures. Yes, I'm easily distracted. Soon it'll be time for me to get back to the ocean, and I can't stop myself from daydreaming about upcoming adventures along the coast.

I have a complicated relationship with skiing: a relationship of love and hate, fear and fulfillment.
Here are a few shots from a rad snowshoe adventure. A couple of weekends ago, @jasminum32 and I decided to hike the Flatiron Trail in the Coquihalla Summit area. The trail is quite mellow, but the long drive made it a demanding day. We were rewarded with blue skies, good snow, and fantastic views over the North Cascades.
